Bonjour,

Je faire les etudes francais pour 5 ans en encole, mais je ne plus utiliser la langue depuis.
So I hope you'll forgive if I continue in english.

We are very fond of the work you've done with WoWCardioRaid, it certainly helps a lot beyond the math wws provides.

I recently found out that there's also a chat log (/chatlog) that looks quite similiar to the combatlog, prepended with date and time.

Would it be hard to implement to load this second log and provide a line with the events?

I think it could provider additional information about what happened infight, esp. the raid warnings (bossmods) and raid chat (people giving warnings or explantions).

this is an interesting idea, and not hard to implement.
It only needs a simple filter to keep only raid chat event and emotes. The combat log and the chat log must be registered by the same player anyway, otherwise times will not match.

I'd appreciate if you don't silently discard the other "non-raid" chats, we are e.g. running FailBot in our officer channel, and some raid members comment on problems in the guild chat instead of the raid chat.
We also have channels for tanks, healers and dps to coordinate.

A filter mechanism like the ones for persons or mobs would be most appreciated Smile

Yeah, I know how big problems can arise from the smallest requests. I'm coding for a living, so I'm well aware of how much work this may cause.
If I can provide any help, just tell me.

not a big change, but player GUID seems to have a new header.
That was 0x0000 before, and now its 0x0XX0 (X = 0 to F )
(i need to investigate further but I am suspecting its related to server in battlegroup).

previously, WCR was just assuming that 0x0000 was player, and, obviously, this assumption does not works anymore.

mhmm, didn't they think about crosslanguagebattlegrounds or similar? not sure why you would need a change like this

I think it's for that, yes.
WCR doesnt need to handle this precisely, but I need to know the real range of this Header change to be sure that I am correctly assigning Unit Type (NPC/pet/player/vehicle ...).
