WowCardioRaid 1.11 beta - wow Mop 5.4.2

Tout d'abord: WowCardioRaid est un excellent outil! Je le trouve indispensable pour l'analyse des raids.
J'espère sincèrement que tu développes toujours WowCardioRaid.
As-tu l'intention de soutenir Patch 5.2? Peut-être en modifiant le dossier datas à nouveau?
Je suis sûr qu'il ya beaucoup d'autres en silence et espérant que tu continues ton excellent travail.

First of all: WowCardioRaid is an excellent tool! I find it indispensible for raid analysis.
I sincerely hope that you still develop WowCardioRaid.
Do you plan to support patch 5.2? Perhaps by patching the datas folder again?

New beta 1.11 with a brand new functionnality: Live replay, with unit full position (!)  yep: blizzard added unit coords in their log.

To be able to use this you must enable the advanced logging in Wow:
Go in Wow -> option/network/check advanced log  then, you must quit the game then relaunch it.

I recommend to discard your current wowcombatlog.txt, before register a new one, so it will not contains hybrid ( basic and advanced) logs




the replay work on the current selected combatblock. If you place a mark (shift-click) in the raid view, the replay viewport give the snapshot of the situation at the mark..

use the mouse to scroll the viewport, and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
use the key J and K to navigate through time (or the live play in the toolbar)
use L to fit all units in viewport
use M to change the replay mode.

the grid indicate 1 unit (light gray) or 5 units (gray), 1 unit = probably 1 meter or 1 yard

events can be filtered/and units focused exactly like the raid view.

This is a work in progress.
The next beta should add units selection in viewport, and more tracking options.

Feedback and ideas welcome: I take all (good) ideas, if it's doable I will add them ;)

i dont know what you guys are saying but i hope its about 5.2 and WCR crashing when i open up the logfile.
Not being able to check who sucks.. well that sucks.. if you know what i mean

blizzard added some data in log but not for all event type, do I have to check all of them one by one.

We didn't have that good a raid yesterday i'm affraid, we only downed the 1st boss, but i do have those logs with me now.
If you want to see logs with lots of wipes on boss Nr2 you're welcome to them, just lemme know and i'll upload them.

i have implemented a more consistent way to find new event changes (because these change are more versatile than I thought in the first place)
Also it can read both log 5.0 - and 5.2
If you already saved a log, I recommand you to resave it, because the parser of the beta 1 may have missed some datas.


I think I have the same kind of log ;) we kill the first boss in 4-5 tries and wiped on the number 2 a lot ^^
so atm only the 2 first bosses are identified.
you may need to add the other yourself until I can do that myself

that looks fabulous and i especially like how you can jump from the graphic to the eventslist!! Awesome!!

Now that i've played with it, I have a few little remarks (hope you don't mind) :
1. When you rightclick on a event in graphic mode (like the moment a player dies) and select ViewEventInList, could you make it so that events for only that player are filtered? It shows all events for all players, and when you select the player in the righthand side it takes you to the top of the events and you lose the position in the eventslist.

2. Can you make the numbers (amount) easier to read? My eyes start to hurt when i'm reading numbers like 29295 or 34842 or 20000. Something like 29k or 34k would be ideal, or 29,295 38,842 20,000

It makes tracking through specific times so much easier now, thanks!!

I have made a release: 1.09. (on the main site or curse, when the file is approved)

I have added an option to use short numbers. (it's global)
For the other request I will need to dig a bit deeper, so I put it on my todo list and I will see later if i can do something.

There are some really interesting data in the new log format:

HP and MANA pool of units on a given event! (and also some unknown datas at this time)

I don't know if and when I will be able to put some time in this but this is really cool ;))

beta1.10:
-handle the new data of the 5.2log
-handle the data in the wcr save file (you may need to resave your previous logs)
-The hpLine is based on the new data. Funny thing, you can switch between the old guessing mode by pressing 'd'. that was not bad ;)
-in detailled view for a given player/unit, it's now possible to see the mana Pool, during a fight
NOTE: there are unknown field yet. by default it shows main power Mana

If you want to test/guess what the other fields are, it's possible to switch with
'e': change the dataFeed
'f' : change the powertype

(of course all these features work only on 5.2logs)

Hi. I did try the v1.10Beta2, but I don't get to see any players when loading log files.

I can see pets and NPC. And I see my own toon name under "Object".

But the graph just show total raid dps/hps/... and the pets/ncp.
Same with stats or events list.

Version 1.09 do load everything correctly. But I'm quite interested in playing with the new log line fields and see if any of them happens to indicate current focus level as the fight progresses.

Are you using 5.2 logs?

-fixed integer overflow issue on big logs (blizzard numbers are way too big now)
-each known power are now assigned to each classes: it's also possible to cycle through known power for a given classe with "f" (for example druid have mana, rage, energy)
-The hp value now also shows the % health of the unit

zyxxel: i have no news from you so i believe the error is on your end?

-fix for "Unknown" unit in log: in options, fill the "unknown unit" field with the usual unknown name in your language (default is english: "Unknown", French will be "Inconnu") must be case sensitive (like it looks in the logs)

wowcardioraid is still my favorite raidlog-parser sofar
You really build something amazing here!

Lately it has been acting strange, like not showing the healthlines of people during the actual raid, but once you close wow and reload the log it shows them.

But the one thing that seems really broken now is that it is unable to parse all of the logs.
I can't get it to go beyond 5 fights!
After that scrolling to the right its like there's no more events.
Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

yes, there are issue with the 5.4.2 patch.
Blizzard slightly modified the log, and added 2 new events.
I dont have the time to make a complete update for that new stuff for now,
I made a fix that, at least handle the hpline issue (blizzard bug in log), and the log loading, and should also fix the integer overflow issues that can still raise time to time, (due to very high damages numbers in big log).


That new beta (wcr1.11 beta 1) will work only for wow 5.4.2:

note: that blizzard added some very cool datas in the log in 5.3 , like player/NPC hp, Attack power, mana energy etc...and WCR was using these datas to draw correct HP line , but all those data are set to 0.0 since the 5.4 patch and are unusable (this is why the hp line didnt work on the fly since, but the last wcr beta now automatically fallback to the legacy heuristic system).

I dont even know if blizzard is aware of that issue, I dont have accesss to the US boards to ask them directly. I don't know any other parser that handle those datas, so maybe they just drop this off.

Just figured the null datas issue:

Blizzard added a new option in the network panel in the main system menu that allows the new datas to be registered in the log.
You have to enable it (advanced logging), then quit the game, then relaunch the game in order to use this option.

In that case, there is also a another new event SWING_DAMAGE_LANDED, which is not handled by wcr currently. I will try to make another update soon.

Edit: they also added something very interesting. I need to do some test, but if it's what I am thinking it's gonna be awesome!
